BSC Round Table on - Albanians and their Political Future in the Balkans

Balkan Studies Center held its 5th Round Table session on Friday, 18th of December 2015 in IUS Senate Room. Lejla Ramić-Mesihović, Executive Director of the think-tank Foreign Policy Initiative in Sarajevo delivered a short talk on the issue after which all participants proceeded with questions and answers during the discussion session. Among the wide range of issues discussed about the Albanians in Yugoslavia, the current situation of Albanians in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro where aim of this Round Table and participants talked about their vision of the Kosovo issue, relations between Kosovo and Serbia, changing perceptions of civil society and NGOs, prospects of joining NATO and EU and more. At the end of the session, participants discussed about an idea of Greater Albania, Albanians as a prospective source of peace and stability.
