Internship and training program at the Balkan Studies Center (BSC) offers practical experience and skills that will benefit you throughout your life. BSC offers you a chance to learn by doing in a setting where you are supervised by professionals. BSC helps interns learn how their theoretical knowledge applies to real situations.

Our programs are designed for foreign and local university students or recent graduates. The programs are intended for students with at least 180 ECTS credits. Students joining us as interns will spend 4-8 weeks working as integral members of BSC. After the completion of an internship every intern is entitled to a internship certificate which bears the supervisor’s and director’s signatures. Students may be eligible to earn credits for internships in case students are enrolled in a major that requires an internship-type experience as part of their core requirements or as an elective academic internship course.

• Location: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Duration: 4-8 weeks
• Number of Internship Opportunities: Two positions available per semester (Fall & Spring) and Summer recess*
• Requirements: Bachelor, Master, or PhD students

Terms & Conditions:

The internship is unpaid, and interns are responsible for covering their living costs including insurance during their internship. It is recommended to apply for funding opportunities.
