BSC Youth Panel: "Turkey and Russia in the Context of Contemporary International Relations"

A panel organized by the Balkan Studies Center in cooperation with the National Turkish Student Union (MTTB) discussed the Turkey-Russia relationship. The panel, titled "Turkey and Russia in the Context of Contemporary International Relations" is part of the new edition of the BSC activities “BSC Youth Panel“.

Panelists were students from IUS: Tatiana Maslova (Russia), Amar Karađuz (BiH), Abdullah Dursun (Turkey), and Hena Begović (BiH). The moderator was Mr. Amar Buljubašić (BiH).

The panelists talked about the strategic importance of Turkey-Russia relations, the crisis of U.S.-Turkish relations, the EU-Russian relations and Turkey's role as transit country for the energy supply, the EU's narrative on the Turkey-Russia relationship, future of the Turkey-Russia relations, as well as about the implications of the Turkey-Russia relationship on the Western Balkans.

After each panelist has made a presentation, students and professors took part in the discussion and shared their views, understandings, and perspectives associated with the topic of this panel.
