Mr. Nijaz Avdukić Delivers Lecture on Youth Retention Strategies at IUS, Addressing Talent Retention in BiH
On 5 November 2024, mr. ecc. Nijaz Avdukić, acting director of the Development Programming Institute of FBiH, visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) and delivered a highly informative lecture titled Youth Strategy in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Retaining Talent in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This event, organized by the Balkan Studies Center IUS (BSC), the Faculty of Law IUS (FLW), and the Faculty of Business and Administration IUS (FBA), was part of a project funded by the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Youth of Canton of Sarajevo.
Development Programming Institute of FBiH plays a vital role in shaping Bosnia and Herzegovina's economic and social policies. With a strategic focus on conducting scientific research aligned with global trends, the Institute aims to enhance understanding of economic and social challenges within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the surrounding region. The Institute addresses the evolving needs of society and the economy by advancing research methodologies, fostering knowledge acquisition, and investing in scientific infrastructure. Its work includes creating the analytical foundations for development policy, guiding macroeconomic programming, and coordinating the implementation of developmental frameworks for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr. Avdukić’s lecture connected directly to the Institute's mission by addressing the urgent issue of youth retention through strategic planning and policy implementation. This event underscored the Development Programming Institute of FBiH's dedication to impactful collaboration with academia and various sectors, aiming to build a more robust framework for sustainable development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
