Turkish language course held - Introduction to Turkish by Innovative Language Learning Methods (Part III)
On Sunday, 25 April 2021, the Balkan Youth School (BYS) has continued its program with two-hour lecture as a part of the Turkish language course “Introduction to Turkish by Innovative Language Learning Methods”, which was delivered by Ms. Fikreta Fetahović, Turkish language Lecturer at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).
Professor Fetahović introduced students to the basic Turkish sentences for daily use in conversations. In this course students developed their communication skills. The course was made up with interactive online session, exercises and activities from the coursebook.
Introduction to Turkish by Innovative Language Learning Methods is a Turkish language course within the scope of the BYS. The course aims to educate students in excellence in education and Turkish language, in line with the objectives of BYS.

The Balkan Youth School is an educational platform in the humanities, social and religious sciences. The study program is organized through modules, providing basic knowledge of history, human rights, international relations, political theories and issues, socio-political and religious issues, Ottoman history, arts and architecture, genocide studies, leadership and political thought.
The project is being implemented by the Balkan Studies Center of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) and supported by The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).
